Welcome To Home Country Hampers
Welcome to Home Country Hampers!
Hello and a very warm welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. Whether you’re browsing for a thoughtful gift, curious about Scotland’s incredible small-batch producers, or just love discovering proper food with a story behind it, you’re in the right place.
I’m Laurie, and I run Home Country Hampers from the beautiful East Neuk of Fife. This business started with a simple idea: to bring people closer to the flavours, traditions, and makers that make Scotland’s food and drink so special.
We’re not a big company, and we don’t do mass-produced. Everything I offer is handpicked, carefully sourced, and rooted in place. I work directly with independent producers — many of them family-run — who pour real care into what they make.
So, what goes into a hamper?
Each one is built around quality, craft, and connection. From crumbly oatcakes, to small-batch jams made with handpicked berries, to melt-in-your-mouth shortbread that tastes like someone’s gran made it just for you — every item has a story, and I love sharing it.
You won’t find filler items or generic snacks here. Just proper food from passionate producers, packed with flavour and a sense of home.
Why I started Home Country Hampers:
I saw a gap for hampers that felt personal — not just a box of bits, but a gift with meaning. I wanted to celebrate the incredible makers we have here in Scotland and offer something that felt thoughtful, well-crafted, and full of local character.
Our first collection, From Fife With Love, was inspired by the producers locally to me in Fife - the place I call home. It’s full of treats that showcase the best of this corner of Scotland, and this is just the beginning!
Whether you’re sending a piece of home to someone further afield, or treating yourself to something special, my hampers are made to connect people through real food and shared values. We deliver across the UK, and every order is packed with pride.
What you’ll find here on the blog
This space is where I’ll share more about what goes into each hamper, introduce you to the brilliant producers I work with, and offer ideas for gifting, pairing, and enjoying the treats inside. Expect:
- Behind-the-scenes glimpses of how hampers come together
- Meet-the-maker stories
- New product spotlights and seasonal collections
- Gifting inspiration for all occasions
- Pairing tips (cheese board, anyone?)
- And the odd recipe, because why not?!
Thanks for popping by - it really means a lot. I’m excited to keep sharing what makes Scotland’s food scene so special - the small-batch, the local, and the downright delicious!
