I’m Laurie, mum to two tractor-loving toddlers and founder of Home Country Hampers based in the beautiful East Neuk of Fife.

My business began with a simple frustration: gift hampers often felt impersonal - filled with mass - produced goods rather than something with real character. I wanted to create gifts that celebrate Scottish tradition, community, and the incredible craftsmanship found in our local producers.

My love for farm shops - where every product tells a story and reflects generations of expertise - inspired me to bring that experience into homes across the country. Each product offers a glimpse into Scotland’s flavourful landscape, bringing together goods that speak of place, practice, and the people behind them.

Home Country Hampers is built around that ethos. I seek out artisan producers who value sustainability, authenticity, and craft, selecting gifts that tell a story and support the local economy. For me, it’s about more than gifting - it’s about preserving tradition, nurturing community, and showcasing the beauty of the country I proudly call home.
